Unlock the Possibility of What Can Be
Life is made up of moments. Some big, some small. Some fleeting, some that feel like they’ll never end, and some that you never want to end. And every once in a while, you get a moment - the one that can change everything …. if you let it.

Deeply afraid of heights, a dream trip to New Zealand for my 30th birthday led to a bungee jumping excursion that was a deep exhale of letting go. Literally… and figuratively.
I had everything I had dreamed about as a kid - the amazing career, moved away to an amazing place, a kind husband, traveling the world … and something I didn’t dream about, a deep knowing I was meant for a different path.
It was after this moment that I went back, left my career as a marketing executive, and started my own business. No plan, no real path, just a knowing that I already made a decision, and the next step was action.
I jumped off a bridge in New Zealand and knew it changed my life…
… the rest was not history
Three years later, the birth of my daughter brought me to a moment when I knew I needed to do things differently, again….
Having a child is one of those life-changing, life-altering moments. Though it’s not always wrapped up in one shining, beautiful, crying, happy moment at the hospital (if this was you, I am so, so very happy for you). For me, it was a wild shake-up–the kind that rips open your heart and soul, and left me with one deep focus: I am going to spend my life finding joy every day.
When I got back home, I decided I was going to fire and not renew clients that no longer felt aligned with a life of joy and purpose. To be clear, I let go of more than 50% of my revenue in just a moment.
I knew there was a different way, and I was going to make it happen.
….I knew I was meant to find joy every day
This was not the first time I had a moment that led me to a completely new life…
This was a familiar, albeit uncomfortable and (at times) nerve-wracking, feeling that I recognized. The ones in hindsight that we see shape everything, but only after the fact do we understand why or how. Except I knew that moment would define me.
When I was just 7 years old, I had a moment so vividly clear that I remember where I was standing and how I felt when I made the decision that I would have a completely different life when I became an adult.
When I was 16, I had a moment where I thought, “I need to go to college, that is my way out.” And so, I took the ACT without prep, wrote every application check myself, and accepted the best school of the five I could afford to apply for without ever setting foot on campus.
When I was 19, I chose my major by flipping a coin. And, at 21, I became the first person in my immediate family to graduate from college.
At 25, a weekend trip to Colorado led me to move my life out here, and at 30, a bungee-jumping trip led me to start a business I had talked about for 8 years.
Like you, these are a few (certainly, not all) of the big moments that have led me to where I am today.
the next stage may be where you are….
We are all just One Moment, One Decision, and One Action away from a completely different life.
I have a deep belief that our past can be better than the present, and that we have the power to make it so. That no matter our upbringing, challenges (past or current), or what’s happened to us, we can change the entire trajectory of our lives with one small moment, decision, and action at a time.
It may not be big. In fact, it might be a small, everyday moment or even just me saying right now, “There is a different way,” where life changes
With that, I also hold a deep acknowledgment that we don’t all have the same starting point, we don’t all have the same privileges or choices, and sometimes life knocks you so far down you don’t know how you can possibly get up again. But I also hold deep hope - that, however small, in whatever way possible, if we keep moving forward, we will find a way.
And that will be your moment, the moment you decide that with any small action, you will change your life.
….what will your moment be?
